So, it's been about 11 months since my last journal thingy. Apparently, the self-importance that lead to me updating at least once a month prior to that dried up at some point, doubtless a combination of A) me getting something which can be generously be called a life and B) the brutality of architecture crits, which pretty much force a person, at least of my skill level, to chose between groveling humility and ridiculous delusion.

So, since then, I've done more architecture, worked over the summer (very dull), did a bit more architecture afterwards, and in amongst all that managed to get a girlfriend, who is a wonderful creature who I love very much. In the future, I'll be doing more architecture, more work and spending more time with Jenni (who, for whatever reason, seems to want to spend time with me as well, which I hardly object to), and if something interesting happens I might mention it.

Amon Amarth also released Twilight of the Thunder God, their third best album, in my mind, and therefore the third best album ever released (y'know, more or less). They're playing the Unholy Alliance in Glasgow a week tomorrow, along with Slayer, Trivium and Mastodon, so that's awesome.
